Epoxy resin is a synthetic mixture that is used for many different purposes. Epoxy resin is created by mixing liquid resin with a hardener, creating a chemical reaction that leads to hardening of the product. The end product is hard and durable, similar to a plastic.

Products can withstand heat, but items straight from the oven will cause damage.

Avoid direct sunlight for long periods of time.

Not dishwasher safe.

Clean with soap and water, damp, non-abrasive cloth or wet wipe.

Use wax or polish to buff out any scratches.

The epoxy resin I use is compliant with FDA 21 CFR 175.300, which regulates which resinous and polymeric coatings may be safely used as a food-contact surface.

Do not use as a cutting surface.
